• Family account must have only one primary billing contact. This contact person will be responsible for all account balances. LADPH will not be responsible for splitting tuition or any other fees amongst other parents/family members. Family account information will only be discussed with the primary billing contact, unless otherwise specified in writing by the primary billing contact. 
•  All accounts are managed and accessible online through our secure customer portal for parents to view and manage accounts. No printed statements will be issued. All accounts are required to have a debit/credit card on file.

• Tuition and fees are due on the 1^st of each month (August-March). You can pay by cash or check on or before the 5^th of the month. If no alternate payments are made, our system automatically draft payments on the 6^th of the month using the debit/credit card on file. There is a 3.75% charge when using a debit/credit card for processing fees. 
• There is a $25 charge charged all insufficient funds transactions. 
• If accounts are paid after the 5th of the month, there will be a $20 late fee applied to account balance. 
• A student may be withheld from participating in class until your outstanding balance is paid. 

LADPH begins ordering costumes in November. Accounts must be paid through November in order for costumes to be ordered. At the time costumes are given out, accounts must be paid through that month (January or February) in order to receive costumes. 

• Students have until September 30th to decide whether they want to continue taking classes. If they decide to drop on or before September 30th, the family account will not be refunded any fees up to this point. Effective October 1st, if a student decides to drop a class, the family will be responsible for tuition the remainder of the season, being that no one at this time can enroll to fill the students spot. NO REFUNDS will be issued and costumes will not be given out.
• An e-mail or written communication must be received stating what class they are dropping along with a reason. This notice must be received before the 1st of the upcoming month, or the student will be charged tuition for that month.
• In the event of an act of God or natural hazard that is beyond human control resulting in cancellation of any LADPH classes and events including dance revue, dance conventions and competitions, no refunds will be issued.

Regular attendance is stressed! Any student missing class must call or bring a note to the studio the following week. At times, absences cannot be avoided. However, missing class is unfair to the remainder of the class because progress is slowed down. Anyone with more than five unexcused absences will not be allowed to participate in the Dance Revue. Attendance is mandatory during Revue Week. Excused absences are medical/doctor excuses and death in the family.

Dancers must dress appropriately and have proper shoes for all classes as noted class information page. Shorts, jeans, 

t-shirts, socks, school uniforms and athletic uniforms are not acceptable. If students are habitually dressed inappropriately for class, they will not be allowed to dance and a parent will be phoned to either bring dance wear/shoes or to pick up their child.

All cell phones must be turned off during class. If a student’s cell phone rings during class or if the student is caught texting during class, the cell phone will be confiscated. The phone will only be returned to a parent.

Students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of class and should be picked up on time. Excessive late pickups will result in a $5 charge to your account. No Students should wait outside of the building. For the safety and concern of our students, parents/guardians are responsible to come inside to pick up their child. LADPH staff will not allow any student to roam the parking lot or bring students to vehicles. 

A valid email address is required to receive communications, since all communication and notices are sent via email. No paper handouts will be given out. All concerns and issues should be addressed with the LADP administration and staff by email or scheduling an appointment. 

LADPH provides a positive-upbeat studio environment. Absolutely no negativity, disrespect, or misconduct will be tolerated by anyone (students, parents, family, etc...) on LADPH premises or at any LADPH function or event. Such behavior may result in immediate removal or dismissal from LADPH, with or without warnings, and no refunds will be issued. 

NO individual or group has the right to design, print, monogram, or use the LADPH logo and the names “LADP”, "LADPH, "“LA Dance Powerhouse”, and/or “Louisiana Dance Powerhouse” without given express consent by the Studio Owner/Director to do so.
