What to Expect for Registration?

You will receive a registration information packet.

Registration fee + 1st installment payment is due at the time of registration.

If you choose to enroll in a marching team, marching uniform/accessory fees are due on the first day of camp.

Registration Fee

Registration Fee: $55 - individual or $75 - family rate (on or before June 30, 2017)

Late Registration Fee: $75 - individual or $95 - family rate (on or after July 1, 2017)

Simple Payment Plan & Incentives

  • Option 1 - pay in full at time of registration and receive a 10% discount off yearly tuition.
  • Option 2 - yearly cost (tuition, costumes/uniform fees, and revue fees) is divided into 9 equal payments. 1st payment and registration fee is due at the time of registration. The remaining 8 payments is due by the 1st day of each month from August 1, 2017-March 1, 2018. 
  • Siblings Discount -  receive $5 off 2nd child's monthly tuition (the first child pays regular tuition). 

Tuition

***Based on a 9 month season (August to April)***

  • 1 Class - $450/year (or 9 payments of $50)
  • 2 Classes - $675/year (or 9 payments of $75)
  • 3 Classes - $900/year (or 9 payments of $100) 
  • 4 Classes - $990/year (or 9 payments of $110)
  • Unlimited Classes - $1,080/year (or 9 payments of $120)
  • Adult Hip Hop - $360/year (or 9 payments of $40)
  • Mini & Jr. Sugar Babes Marching Teams Performance Fee - $72/year (or 9 payments of $8)
  • Sugar Dolls Marching Team Performance Fee - $99/year (or 9 payments of $11)
  • Private Lessons - $50/hour

Revue Costumes & Performance Uniforms

***Fees include costumes only (tights + performance earrings not included)***

  • Primary & Beginners BTJ Combo Classes (2) Costumes - $162
  • Intermediate, Junior, & Advanced Combo Classes (3) Costumes - $243
  • Hip Hop Classes (1) Costume - $81
  • Cheer & Tumbling Classes (1) Uniform - $126 *we are using the same uniforms from last year* 
  • Extra Ballet & Pointe Classes (1) Uniform - $81
  • Sugar Babes & Sugar Dolls Uniform - $150 *we are using the same uniforms from last year*
  • Marching Team Accessories - poms $50, earrings $15, hair piece $15

Revue Fees

  • Revue Fee - $108 per student: The revue fee helps defray some of the expenses associated with the cost of renting the Sugar Cane Festival Building, music and lighting technician, backdrops, sets, props, and security. Every student will receive a revue shirt to wear for the finale, a backstage pass for dress rehearsal (Friday night - closed to the public) and complimentary tickets along with 1 backstage pass for the revue (Saturday night). Also, students will be presented with trophies and certificates at our awards ceremony during dress rehearsal.  
  • Revue Shirt Fee - $18 per student: Every student will receive a revue shirt to wear to participate in the finale.
  • Revue Program Fee - $63 per family: The revue program fee helps cover the cost associated with the production of our annual dance revue program. Every student will receive a complimentary program and have their individual and class picture featured in our program. 
  • Revue DVD Fee - $54 per family: Every family will receive a DVD of the revue.

General Policies & Procedures

  • Accounts & Payments: Accounts are managed online through the customer portal. You will receive notice that tuition and fees have been posted to your account via email each month, from August-March. Tuition and Fees are due on or before the 10th of each month. A $15 late fee will be charged to past due balances on the 11th of each month and students may be withheld from participating in classes until the past due balance is paid. Payment methods accepted are cash, checks, money orders or credits cards (online only). A $25 service fee is charged on all insufficient funds transactions. All accounts must be paid in full on or before March 1st.
  • Withdrawal from Class: Students have August and September to decide whether or not they want to continue taking a class. Drop forms must be turned in on or before September 30th. Effective October 1st, parent/guardian is responsible to pay tuition/fees for the remainder of the season (October-April). 
  • Refunds: All money paid to LADP is non-refundable beginning with the first payment received at registration. 
  • Attendance: A student's progress is directly associated to his or her attendance; therefore, regular attendance is necessary. The instructor will not slow down the class progress for anyone who misses frequently. A student who misses more than 5 classes may not be allowed to perform in the revue! Please contact the studio when a student will be absent. Parents may track their child's attendance record through the parent portal.
  • Communications: A valid email address is required at registration as all of LADP communications are reported via email.
  • Dress Code: A description of the dress code may be found under the 2017-2018 classes tab. No street clothes/school uniforms allowed. No jewelry. 
  • Conduct & Behavior: LADP provides a positive-upbeat studio environment. Absolutely no negativity, disrespect, or misconduct will be tolerated by anyone while on LADP premises or at any LADP function or events. 
  • Cell Phone Use: No cell phone use allowed while in class.
  • Food, Drinks, Chewing Gum: No food or chewing gum allowed in dance rooms, only drinks. Food/snacks are limited to the lobby/waiting area.
  • Student Drop Off & Pick Up: Students should arrive NO EARLIER THAN 5 MINUTES prior to the start of class and should be picked up ON TIME. Excessive late pick ups will result in a $5 charge to a student's account.
