  • Kami moore (owner, Artistic director, & instructor)

At a very young age, Kami has always dreamed of having her own studio so that she could guide, educate, and inspire our youth. While pursuing her education at LSU, Kami continued to nurture her passion and vision. With 7 years of teaching experience at Lori's School of Dance in Baton Rouge along with 3 years as a member of the nationally-ranked LSU Tiger Girls dance team, Kami was excited to move back home to turn her vision into a reality. In 2007, her dream came true when Louisiana Dance Powerhouse opened its doors. As a progressive studio Louisiana Dance Powerhouse has made a powerful statement in 10 years...from the talented marching teams who represent the studio in festival/holiday parades and events in the success of the Elite Dance Company who in 8 years of competing earned numerous awards including platinum and high point awards, choreography awards, best of show, and entertainment award just to name a few. A graduate of dance with 16 years of training coupled with 17 years of teaching experience, Kami's combined years of diverse training and experience along with our teaching staff will guide and direct many students in the years to come.
